The Shootout is a privately run office pool for members of the Painter family, their friends, and in certain instances friends of friends (with the proper approval). Basically all entrants must have some tie back to a member of the Painter family. I’ve been hosting this tournament for what will be our 34th year.
Our tournament is unlike any other where after the first weekend of games are complete, you get a Second Chance to pick which teams you think will win after the final sixteen teams are determined. You accumulated points from both your Original bracket as well as from your Second Chance bracket.

If you’ve played in our tournament over the last two to three years, you know that I would prefer that your entry fees be paid by electronic means if possible. You can use:
Scoring
One of the most important things that you need to know is how our scoring works. Please familiarize yourself with our scoring system and make sure you understand how our Second Chance bracket plays into the scoring.
